Weill Cornell Welcomes Residents

Each year, the Weill Cornell Medical College Resident Exchange Program hosts residents from Bugando University College of Health Sciences in Mwanza, Tanzania. The program’s mission is to train the next generation of Tanzanian physicians while expanding the awareness and skills of Weill Cornell faculty and students.

Drs. Adroster Kyakabanja, Ndikumwami Rufutu, Mary Nzota, and Deodatus Mabula are currently completing a 6-week rotation in the Department of Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital supervised by Dr. B. Robert Meyer. During the rotation, they will join morning report, participate in rounds, and attend various seminars.
