The Center for Global Health at Weill Cornell Medicine works tirelessly to address critical health inequities in resource-poor countries through collaborative research, education, and direct patient care. For over four decades, our partnerships with institutions in Haiti, Brazil, Tanzania, and India have advanced medical knowledge and improved health outcomes for millions.
Our multidisciplinary team of experts conducts groundbreaking research to identify and address major health challenges, from infectious diseases to maternal-child health. Through rigorous training programs, we prepare the next generation of global health leaders while strengthening healthcare capacity in partner countries. Our work has led to remarkable achievements—such as helping reduce HIV prevalence in Haiti from 6% to below 2% through innovative prevention and treatment strategies.
