The Global Health Research Fellowship Application for 2020 is Now Open

The Global Health Research Fellowship is a three-year fellowship that includes mentored field-based research, courses in research methods, and clinical service at Weill Cornell NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The majority of the fellowship time will be spent conducting mentored research at one of our international sites in Haiti, Tanzania, Brazil or India.

Fellows will have a primary research mentor in their area of interest and a team of co-mentors with expertise in epidemiology, statistics, laboratory science and other areas as needed. Our goal is for fellows to develop as NIH funded physician-scientists in global health.

At this time we are recruiting people who have completed their United States residency training in internal medicine or emergency medicine. Exceptional trainees from other United States residency training programs (pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, pathology, etc.) may be considered on a case by case basis.

If you are interested in applying, please check out our "Fellowship Components and Timeline" and "Eligibility and How to Apply" pages.
