Welcome to the online home for Global Health at Weill Cornell Medical College. We define Global Health as service, training, and research to address health problems that transcend national boundaries, disproportionately affect the resource poor, and are best addressed by multidisciplinary solutions. Our vision at Weill Cornell is to create a sustainable and innovative college-wide Global Health research and training program that engages undergraduate, graduate, and medical students and faculty from multiple disciplines to solve problems of global health.
The Global Health Website is a hub for the Weill Cornell Global Health community and visitors alike. Here, you will find information about Weill Cornell's Global Health Initiatives, profiles of faculty who are committed to Global Health service, training, and research opportunities for Weill Cornell students living in the United States wishing to travel abroad and for international students wishing to study at Weill Cornell. Finally, the Global Health Website hosts the Weill Cornell Global Health Online Journal, a publication featuring Global Health events, news, and publications at Weill Cornell, and articles by Weill Cornell students who have participated in service, training, and research abroad.
