How can we encourage female leaders in global health?

Dr. Roger I Glass, Director of the Fogarty International Center contributed an opinion piece to Fogarty's July/August Global Health Matters newsletter highlighting the importance of closing the gender gap in global health leadership.

He references strategies discussed during a panel discussion hosted by the Women in Global Health Research Initiative at CUGH 2017, such as making training courses readily available for women through short-term intensives or distance learning options.
