UNICEF correspondent Thomas Nybo traveled to Haiti and reported on how Dr. Rachel Bertrand, head of the adolescent clinic at GHESKIO in Port-au-Prince, is on a mission to improve the care of HIV-positive children and young adults in Haiti.  The adolescent clinic, run by GHESKIO and supported by UNICEF, treats young patients between the ages of 10 and 24.

Dr. Bertrand works to recognize the particular needs of the population, while providing education and other support.

The adolescent clinic at GHESKIO sees about 50 patients per day, and has about 770 HIV-positive patients who are taking antiretroviral medication.
